2nd gear to 1st gear feels like a neutral drop when in stop and go traffic.

The wife has an A6 3.0T with APR tune, etc… She prefers my car lol… Her car is definitely way more reliable overall though since it doesn’t get driven nearly as much as mine. I also have a lot done to my car, so she’d probably prefer her car if mine was still stock. I can say that the 3.0T feels way lighter on it’s feet, until you’re full throttle… and I’m still faster around the track (for now). We’ll see how long that lasts.

my trans on orig fluid now @ 119k is starting to feel ‘arthritic’ and I’ll likely do the change - same change regimine as - say - a D2?

warranty-wise, btdt… most shops are loathe to work with them, though I’ve had multiple tens of thousands in work done on many cars at many places over many years 8-). Flying commando on this one, sucks as I’m $4.5k into mani / carbon clean at this point and that’d been the cost of the warranty roughly… ah well

3.0T wise… agreed, even pulling the door handle and opening the door… it feels cheap and light. Driving wise, my neighbor’s got an APR Stage 1 and while it hauls and may be as fast as mine… it drives ‘light’ and I don’t care for it. Meh.
