If there were a ‘why do B5 owners have a bad rap’ discussion, we could post him up as the poster child.

The guys like jibberjive and jfonzjude and s6atron and nyc are more of what I think the B5 guys need to be…excited about cars and performance and having fun. The perrennially trolling kids with cars that are on jackstands need to go.

fuck no. So far he has been a good sized mouthpiece, has flashed a dyno, trash-talked the V8 cars, then disappeared. He may go on the poster in a thug pose with 8urv8 lol.

Speaking of, what happened to your brother and his car? He was lining up races in the tri-state etc…but is his car even running? Is it getting delivered soon?

Good point Saki. Its a few big ego dbags that give the B5S4 guys a bad rap on national forums. No one acts like this my local mnaudi.com forums because in RL there are consequences to shooting your mouth off and it doesn’t involve a 1/4 mile or 60-130 run.

Hell, the people I hang out with the most when we have local events are 2 B5S4s, a B8 A3, a S5 and a B8 S4 owner. We all get along great. Everyone understands the respective owner bought that model Audi because it fit their individual needs best.

yeah, it’s always the case. Forums are just weird. I’m pretty confrontational and argumentative on forums, but much more agreeable in real life. It’s the written word…far more harsh. Of course I’m not out to trash someone’s car on the forums, but you know what I mean.

Exactly! My local forum is the exact same way, I don’t think there’s ever been a single argument in the 2+ years I’ve been a member, we meet up all the time with a full smorgasboard of audis and there is no trash talking or bad mouthing. Heck we even meet up with the VW guys sometimes and sometimes… god forbid… the bmw guys :stuck_out_tongue:

On a side note this thread is awesome, where do you come up with those insults 91gl?!?! ;D

True enthusiasm = the disappointment shown last week when the M3, S5 and C63 were NOT running as fast as they should have been. I.e. loving all cars going fast

No doubt man. We have guys on our Audi forum that sold their Audi’s and bought BMWs but refuse to switch forums because they like the people so much. They even have their own little Non-Audi Discussion section. Who would’ve thought? Haha

Lol let me clarify. My local AUDI forum… The local forum for cars in general is JDM>rest of the world. Although they do hold huge meets and get some sick cars out.

I enjoy a good debate/argument myself, but I find on forums it always devolves to flinging personal insults, so I just avoid it. I’m always right too S6atron, guess you and I will never argue :stuck_out_tongue:

LOL. Wrong. You tend to present information to or ask information from people. It is up to that person how they’ll react. Unfortunately for you a lot of people react negatively to information that doesn’t support their beliefs. This can be quite entertaining for those of us reading … :smiley:
