AWE has 2.5 and milltek has 3.0 inch diameter exhaust. AWE claims a bunch of dyno gains.
Interesting to see what is optimal.

Any difference?
Yes.
Tested modified and back to stock again. S8’s up next.
EUROCODE SAID NO POSSIBLE FOR TURBO CAR MAKE GAIN FROM EXHAUST
You guys ever played around with exhaust valves? If you make a valved version with full manual control, I will kiss you (and buy one).
The new RS cars have sport option mufflers with exhaust flaps/valves, the S models are left out. Would be cool to be able to basically replicate the audi exhaust sport option thru a reputable aftermarket company. Milltek offers straight replacement systems for RS cars (vacuum actuated flaps), but nobody is offering a RS style sport exhaust system for ‘S’ cars.
Wireless control would be ideal so no electrical wiring/installation costs.

Mine are squeaky so you can hear them open.
Here’s mine going wot in both modes.

I guess I should have just bought an RS7.
But seriously, why are exhaust companies ignoring the valved option for the S cars that come with muted exhausts? What am I missing?
I thought Milltek was working on valved exhausts. At least for the S4.
Supposedly, they have been working on one for three years.
There is no reason it should take this long.
We haven’t. Our RSC exhausts eliminate drone so we haven’t found a need for them.
Not talking about drone, talking about noise levels.
It is nice to turn the volume down on date nights or cruising into your neighborhood.

Arin,
What psi are the turbos running stock, and what are the new values per stage 1?
It would be interesting to understand some of the non-proprietary changes that accompany your new map.

Wrong thread, sorry…

I’ll have to grab the data from engineering. Let me see what I can dig up next week.
