Of course they have shown zero proof of this. Here’s what we have so far…
Another useful narrative by someone that doesn’t own and has never owned an RS4. This is a blatant troll thread as usual and it’s unfortunate that the slander and deceit associated with the B6/7 S4 community has become the status quo for the RS4.
APR runs 8250 rev limit, we run 8500 because the car keeps making power because our system is that efficient. The customer can get whatever rev limit they want.
At this point we have more miles in more cars on our high power kit than anyone and that is a fact. This means daily driving, 1/4 mile, ROAD COURSE, high elevation, extreme high temps, extreme low temps, dyno pulls, and regional fuel differences. It IS the most proven kit.
We have zero engine issues which is something that can’t be said about others. We provide exactly what we advertise in terms of performance and that also can’t be said about others. If we take APR’s word about boost level, you will see TTS, APR and AMD all running very similar boost to obtain similar performance. There is no magic here just hardware and physics. It’s disappointing to see this continued propaganda and lies becoming common when we really could be actively accurately comparing products with data and facts.
I completely forgot y’all own a RS4 as well don’t you.
We do actually thanks for asking. Remind me again if JHM used their own RS4 or a customers car from Michigan for benchmarks? Not that it matters but lets keep the facts straight here before making a point that doesn’t apply. I may be mistaken but I thought their in house car has been down for a while.
First, isn’t it weird how everything people say he turns around to attack JHM somehow? I mean NOBODY was referring to JHM here. Just JasonAMD. He’s a little obsessed.
So that’s pretty interesting. He makes big claims about testing and miles and extremes, and when questioned about not testing on their own car, he claims they DO have an RS4.
Are we being led to believe AMD has a shop car with a supercharger that is being used for testing? Don’t think so…we already know that AMD couldn’t afford their own RS4 lol…and that they use customer cars for all development, whether it’s their B5 or B7 RS4 programs. See twitS4estate’s blown motor (multiple now), as well as dshot (blown) and burningcoals (blown) for a history of AMD practicing on customer assets. This trend continues with woodi being the guinea pig for their RS4 program out west, and Kryptonik being the guinea pig for the 93 octane tune testing out east.
The reason they didn’t buy an RS4 for development from the get go? Simple…they aren’t committed to the platform, and frankly either werent liquid enough to buy one…or they didn’t know if the product would be succesful thus didn’t want to get stuck with a $40,000 car. So they used customer cars for development (mind boggling lol)
Anyway, a couple of people local to AMD offered to come see the AMD RS4 and take photos and photos of the title to settle this. Jason’s response?
(crickets)
Then AMD sales rep RS4per showed up…
Did he say he/AMD has an RS4? Yes (and that much is fact as I’ve seen it and ridden in it).
INTERESTING! So there’s corroboration of the tale…although as mentioned it’s not exactly someone impartial.
Weird that Jason didn’t take wellarmed up on his offer to be an impartial third party to prove the existence of the AMD in house RS4 test car. Wonder why? Anyone have any guesses?
