B8.5 S4 cuts a 1.462 60ft time!

Still trying to wrap my head around this 60ft. He goes to the track with Loe and has run some good times so he has practice unless there was a timing equipment issue it looks legit. I would like to see some more to back it up even low 1.5x’s. His car seems to rev and hold at a higher RPM than I ever see my car rev to before hitting. Almost sounds like a tiny bit of wheel spin after he is already moving but tough to tell 100%. He’s very slow to 330 given his 60 as it’s taking him nearly 3.2 vs 3.1ish for Loe and I. Would love to see some logs… I don’t think he has any issues in 1st and 2nd so that shouldn’t cause the 60-330 loss of time but maybe he’s bleeding some boost… Car is going to be a beast once the tune is sorted! First 10 second S4 possibly?

The best I’ve ever cut was a 1.54x to give some perspective that’s nearly a tenth slower! In drag racing 60ft’s that’s a LOT of time! That launch is better than MOST 9 and 10 second GTR launches and 911 Turbos!

Oh and not sure why he does 2 pre launches, they’re not needed…

It is amazing if it happened- looks a little suspect though since the accompanying slip is nearly identical @ 330 & 660 but .12 slower to 60’ - I’d hope it’s legit and would like to see that illusive 10 second pass!

not all tracks’ timing equipment works all the time. Sad reality.

But everyone will cling to that number lol.

There was a B6 S4 that cut like a 5.9 second 1/8 mile time once.

Orlando…not an NHRA track I’m assuming…
