Right, and I completely understand that too. I was just saying this shop in particular has suited my eye and know he has quality parts and work. I just hope all this talk he doesn’t let me down lol

Hmm idk if I want to go for resonators or not? I’m so up in the air about it. Do you know anywhere that I can find some in comparison to eachother and some pricing? I’ve tried looking but haven’t come up with much or even which brand is superior to another. I want a smooth, powerful, aggressive sound. Something to match the power that JHM is supplying us with :wink:

Wow very informative posts maddog, this just made up my mind about what I want to do for full exhaust in the future. I’d go with F.I simply because its guaranteed to be the best, JHM is only stocking it because they can’t build anything better, that says a lot to me. I know I could get something comparable made locally, but it would cost a lot more than $1200. Zingo, unless labour is really really cheap in your area I can’t see something equivalent being produced for under $600. Don’t get me wrong, it could be a decent exhaust, but it’s not going to equal to the F.I. one.

I’m sure JHM can throw a set on and take a video for us :wink: I imagine it would sound amazing. The tune alone makes the 3.0 sounds better, a good exhaust would perfect it.

I really have to eccho what maddog said.

If you can find someone that builds exhausts for a living and they have all the manderial bends then sure give it a shot and Im sure not every shop that can build exhausts knows how to quality exhaust and Im sure some exhaust shops do.

My experence was a fukn nightmare trying to go custom. It always looks cheaper on the front side usually ends up being more expencive and when I did it it was a mess.

if ya got a great guy who you feel comfortable with go for it.

otherwise. find a nice kit and go from there. I love the FI kits and I would love to hear it on a 3.0
