speaking of car projectiles, I used to carry my skis in the cabin of my car until I thought about it one time… a mega stiff piece of tintinal, carbon fiber and wood is the last thing I want smashing into me if I get rear ended

His insurance paid me out, not a huge number, but enough to get the bike back on the road, pay my medical and blow it in a few other places. It definitely will not be contributing to my early retirement.
