You sure that wasn’t a LC of sorts that you’re hearing? Looks to have MTM wheels and exhaust…wonder if it’s blown too.
really? thought it was stock ti wheels. Doesn’t sound like launch control to me…and its slow. No chance it’s supercharged

Are we positive about that? I thought CV was the only one too but there were rumblings that MRC and some outfit in Romania both had it as an option. We can always inquire with MRC to see if that is true, I’ll try and find where I read about the Romanian company and ask them too.

I had launch control way before JHM .
It was hardwired though. Added an n2mb wot box. I think it was 2-3 years ago.

We since got launch control to work on med 9.1 (2l tfsi and rs4 ) and med 17 (or was it 19 ? , anyway it`s the 1.8 tsi on the seat leon) through software.

So did you write launch control before JHM into your tune? Or did you install a WOT box before JHM? They’re quite different…
Ive used launch control . Ive used the hardware solution for some time.
We then searched and tested the software solution on a 2l tfsi . After this was working we tested it on my rs4 and it worked.
The software solution uses a softer limiter than the n2mb wot box.
I do not know if we managed to find the solution before JHM .
I had launch control on my B7 S4 (written into the tune by JHM) back in January 2011. I was one of the first B7 S4s to get it, and that was a few months after they put it on a few RS4s.
just clarifying. Can’t remember when you sold your RS4, so you may have had it first.
Launch control… add that to my list of crap to research!
