High pitched screeching sound when moving from a stop

It’s a racing clutch. There’s usually some chatter which can feel like shudder.

I’ll get my mechanic to check it out when I go there for my next oil change which is coming up soon.

I reckon it will just disappear.

Get your girlfriend or friend to start the car from a stop while you stand or walk beside it. See if you can locate it. Do it in an underground garage so you don’t freeze to death.

My gf doesn’t drive my car since I’ve put the Stage 4 clutch and now the 5R
Maybe I can get one of you guys to listen at the next Audi meet lol

Let’s just do a mini-meet.

I’m down. Who’s bringing the portable heaters?

won’t need any. It will be around 0 by the weekend. Will feel like t-shirt weather!

We can get some HD video of some launches and stuff too.

I guess I’d be in as well. I might have to work from 8pm to 1pm Saturday to Sunday though so maybe around 11am or so. Will need to take a nap from 4-6pm if I do have to go into work for 8pm.

Shudder can be an indication of a driveshaft on the way out. Another thing to have a look at when your mechanic has it on the lift.

Or you can just launch it and see what happens :). I swear my Stage lll feels better after a launch every couple of months.

I was trying to say I have no shudder. I have some chatter once in a while if I’m not super careful which can sometimes feel like shudder but it’s just the 6-puck clutch doing it’s grabby thing.
