why do you want your plate to be MORE visible? Shouldn’t it be the opposite? 
im too fast to even be seen anyway lmao. seriously though im getting the license bulb error occaisionally so I was looking into the leds just because its a nicer light and they come with brand new covers (mine are old and ugly) but holy shit are they ever bright.
This. I would rather tint my license plate light housings then put LEDs in there.

The leds would probably look pretty good with a small amount of tint on them.
I also have the ECS leds and I think it improves the look of the back end a ton. Yeah, they are bright, but the whiter light from the led is so much better than the yellowey stock ones that I am willing to deal with it being bright.
BTW my Tail lights are the tinted version LED tails. My License plate lights i think look great. I dont like the yellow look of non LED plate lights. TBH If a cop sees low light around the plate i feel it makes it more a second look than someone with visible plate lights.
