I haven't had a smooth transaction with ECS so far...avoiding them now.

I always hear bad things about ECS but have had nothing but great dealings with them. I guess I’m lucky?

When my Ziza license plate LEDs started throwing an error light, they send me new ones, no questions asked. Didn’t even have to send them the old ones back.

When my shitty Schwaben floor mats started deteriorating a month after I got them, ECS gave me a full credit and 2-day shipped me the Audi sport rubber mats (which I love BTW).

I think their customer service is much better than a lot of other companies out there, and their shipping speeds have increased as of late. Maybe it’s just me though…

Ive never had a problem with them. Only had good expierences as well.

Never had a problem with ECS - about 5 orders in 2 years.

Granted, I’m usually ordering off-the-shelf type stuff that they move a lot of, and is not fragile.

I think just from reading the thread that ecs has consistency issues and continues to have them. I think as more part dropping warehouse type company’s pop up ecs feels the pain and starts to get back into gear.

and the issues continue. I did end up trying another order with them. After ordering, a few of the items changed their availability date and now I’m waiting at least an extra day. I know it doesn’t sound like much but when you pay for 2-day shipping because you’re trying to plan what day your parts will arrive (based on the availability date on the site), it’s extra annoying to then not get the parts when you expected them.

It’s hard to find time these days to work on the car…like I need to schedule going to the bathroom lately.

I’m with you that’s actually a HUGE deal. It’s super annoying. I’m like you I don’t have lots of time and I see cases I’m helping guys that… Might be from out of town. That makes everything 200x more of a mess

I’m actually quite surprised at this thread. I’ve made a bunch of ECS orders in the last few months.

Everything has pretty much come right on time. The last order I placed was on Tuesday and I paid for 2 day UPS air. It said ships in 2 days so I expected it on Saturday but I didn’t get it until Monday. Yeah I was a little upset because I wanted to work on my car that day. But at the same time if it was really important for me to work on the car that day I should have been more proactive about ordering the part early enough the make sure I got it when I wanted it. In addition to that, I don’t know where I could have ordered the parts and received them as quickly as I did from ECS.

what’s the ‘44 items’ one?

Bolts and bolts and bolts.

That looks like the box of stuff that I picked up from my local dealer for the rear suspension rebuild. The parts guy was like this is ridiculous!

Lol - I can top it. I built a 2012 Boss 302 engine from the block up and ordered every nut and bolt from a popular Ford dealer. If I hadn’t already bought a lot of parts in the past, I think he would have sent me packing.
