He basically told me they don’t expect to sell much to the current B8 crowd, but they are more preparing for an influx of ex-B5 owners as they move into the B8 as prices start to come down/out-of-warranty.
EFTG also posted a link to a customer’s instagram which claimed 600 WTQ “The first BiCharged B8 S4! 600 ftlbs of Torque on the dyne”
Then they posted a 12.2 @ 116 1/4 mile time.
There’s a thread on Audizine where that video and the 500 whp claim was posted. Interesting variety of responses. One was really interesting…1FastS4 scammer saying “I’ve only gone 12.4 there…that track is crap”
OK, so we’re learning that on a relative basis, the EFTG bicharged 500 whp/600 wtq car is about 1 or 2 tenths and 2 mph quicker than a stage 2 B8 S4 was.
Only problem? A stage 2 B8 S4 is good for what…400 whp and around 375 wtq. So the EFTG guys are claiming +100 WHP and +225 WTQ…and are putting up 1 or 2 tenths???
That thread is interesting because it shows you:
a) who isn’t exactly impartial - the excuse makers. Wonder how 1FastScammer is hooked up with these guys.
b) who isn’t exactly sharp - people who think 12.2 @ 116 is ‘SICK!’ and worth applauding…considering the power/torque claims.
500 whp and 600 wtq should be good for low low 11s and 125+ MPH. AT WORST. Reality is if that’s not a bullshit dyno, it should be sneaking into the 10s with DSG and pushing 127 MPH or so with a curve that strong.
People will complain about traction (it’s a fucking Audi) and the Density Altitude (it’s 1900 feet). Last time I checked, primetime runs at around 1000 feet all the time, and has gone faster ET and MPH than this car. In fact, it would be nice to see primetime’s fastest time at 2000 feet of DA…especially considering primetime dyno’d under 400 whp!
People are also making excuses saying ‘tune isn’t right’. As mentioned above by primetime and Chrisk, who the fuck goes to the dragstrip when your car isn’t tuned? They claim it can’t go into 3rd without limp mode on the first few passes…so what, that just started happening?
Need I remind anyone that the car was just fine apparently on the dyno…nobody dynos in 1st gear last time I checked. You go through the gears and run the full range in 3rd or 4th. Further, aren’t these guys the same ones who posted their 60-130 time online a few weeks ago? last time I checked, that would require 3rd and 4th and 5th gear on a B8 S4. No limp mode there though…
All around, these guys are a classic example of how not to do it.
Saki, Well put… I am in the office so I don’t have everything with me but I know I went 12.0428 @ 116.49 on 100 une with GT260 in 2,350 DA… I believe I have gone 11.9x at around 1,900 feet… I’ll look tonight or this weekend… Thompson is 1,230 to start with so anytime I go in the summer it’s over 1,900…
As for that whole crew it’s a joke with the multiple screen names, fake dyno #'s, shitty track times, etc. Based on the comments they made to Jran that he posted they are just looking for people to scam since they are targeting B5 converts once the price point of the B8 is in the low 20’s… Really sad IMO… Oh and fuck that fanboy toolbox Saxon…
Epic Failure needs to call up a local bank and understand loan requirements. B5 guys still have a long way to go before they can afford to buy a B8, let alone slap down another $10K in twin charge setup.
Although, it may take them 5 years to actually make work so yeah, maybe they are tracking just fine.

You’d be surprised. There’s lots of old ass b5 guys who are moving into the b8. Many of them hail from quattroworld where facts and information go to die.
But…if the pitch diameter is exactly the same, because the belt isn’t changing…then rib to rib is fine. Why would a company change the pitch diameter if they are still utilizing a stock belt? They wouldn’t.
I was just curious about the AMD belt setup, a ton of guys in the B6/7 S4 platform had a horrible time with the stock belt. I never had an issue, but I figured it would just be an easy thing to take care of to provide customers piece of mind. Then again I always forget the RS4 has a much better tensioner than the shitty S4 on that you set with a bolt.

Yeah, now the guy who was the first in Arizona to get the GIAC/AWE pulley is saying he has a dyno sheet that shows the car makes 600+ HP & TQ… yet it runs 12.2 and more importantly traps 116ish? hmmm… something isn’t adding up… lol
VF Enginering had a guy like this they had post to justify their SC kit on the B67. He had a bunch of flash cars. He comes in saying he ‘knows performance’ and boasts about his ‘stable’ to intimidate the weak minds on the forum into listening to him. Then he says how great the kit feels etc. with zero actual data. Just fluff. But people are generally born followers and when they see someone with a Z06 and a GTR and a boat (why did this idiot post about his 1300 hp boat? Water performance feel suddenly gives you an eye for the power/torque a B8 S4 is making??? Obviously he posts that so he looks succesful and the weak minions will listen to him as spewing gospel).
Reality is that guys with money to burn on cars in 99% of cases don’t have a fucking clue about performance because for them, there’s no perceived risk to getting ripped off. If they buy something that sucks, they will just buy something else. The guy who spends $10,000 that he saved up for his stage 3 kit and scrutinizes all possibilities before purchase, ensuring he gets data and facts to suppoort the products claims…he’s the guy you follow. The guy who just throws $10,000 around like it’s change he found in the couch will rarely make an informed, tested decision.
I look at this project like a rat rod or chopper esque project. Its cool, makes power, one of a kind…attention grabbing…but will never become stable/predictable/capable enough to sell mass market.
Anyone who thinks this frankenstein car will challenge or disrupt the tuner market is drinking a tainted water supply.
Like I said before, they might have it all sorted out by the time B5 fanbois can finally afford B8s (buy for under $10K)
