JHM RS4 Crank Pulley.

Got this nice piece of art in the mail the other day… debating on when to install it.

http://www.kryptonik.org/rs4/jhmrs4crankpulley.jpg

Haven’t asked JHM, or anyone else about the install process… is this something I can do fairly easy now? Or wait until I need to remove the front end for example… JHM s/c install in the future.

Will it be ok to run the lighter crank pulley with the future JHM s/c?

Any tips on install?

P.S. I will be doing the install myself.

Explain stuff in background plz.

haha figured someone was gonna notice.

It’s my flight sim equipment to keep me fresh when I’m not flying.

Whoa another flight sim nerd. You have what I want to get into. I’ve only got as far as triple monitors and a CH yoke and pedals.

Are you commercial or recreational? I’ve got a PPL but haven’t flown for a couple of years :frowning: no time lol

Ah awesome to hear there are more of my kind too haha. I love it man… got a serious Maingear PC setup to run everything, loads of fun! Triple monitors def add to the realism in adding more instant visuals of your surroundings instead of paning all over the place with a button.

PPL here as well. Don’t own, currently rent whenever I wanna go fly. A home sim definitely helps in staying fresh, but of course there is no substitute for actual flying.

I was going to say its not safe to fly the space shuttle and install parts… its not a hard install pull the front ekd into service remove belt install reassble…

If im not wrong the jhm supercharger kit has a 6 rib pulley…thats actually a big deal cuse all the other kits only use 5…super lame…so when you get that kit you can recoup some money hy selling the pulley

Great info, thanks! I’ll probably work on it when I’m due for the next oil change.

Yeah, the sc kit comes with its own pulley (the sc pulley) and would replace your light weight crank pulley.
