ah thank you golfteam.

I remember a company in california that was into the audi scene and thought maybe it was them but it has been so long since we heard from them…that must have been someone else.

JHM? I think those are the guys that used to keep us excited about our platform

LOL!

That’s awesome, jelly of all you people who live in the area. Take lots of pics, and someone sneak a vbox into the 3.0 and take it for a spin so we don’t have to wait for stats :stuck_out_tongue:

I totally missed the APR flashes thing, maybe that’s why they’ve been so busy. I wonder what the supercharger discount will be like?

I think they partnered with APR so they can use APR’s flash server system for JHM RS4 tunes and such. I’d assume some nice revenue too from other products. 034 did the same thing

Forgot to mention that we will also be accepting applications for future JHM employees [wrench]

If I was on the west coast I would definitely come check it out

Building new products > Forum Updates.

Or would you like me to flip that statement around, because we could “talk” or “post” about cool stuff we would like to do or actually make cool stuff and post about it later after its done, tested and ready for market?

seems like you are all walk and no talk.

lol literally

hey bertachoni…get that fucking RS4 moving already.

Working on it tonight actually

I am actually considering flying from NC to CA for this…

if I lived in the US (or Europe) II would totally take little trips like this without thinking twice.

Here in Canada taxes etc. make flights onerous, as do the airport security delays…but those cheap southwest flights…or in Europe the Ryanair or EasyJet flights (i.e. 30 bucks from Paris to Glasgow etc.) I would take lots of little trips.

For perspective the cheapest short haul flight I can find here would be $250-400

It’s $450 round trip for me no matter what airline. That’s arriving the morning of the 21st and leaving later in the day on the 22nd.

wow $30? Why drive anywhere lol? I wonder how much money theyre making at those rates

I know it’s really really strange. They don’t include anything…i.e. no checked bags, no food, no drink, so you get nickeled and dimed if you aren’t careful.

But when I’m in Europe, we’re going to make a couple of 2-3 day trips. It’s nuts how cheap it is. My friend was in London with his brother a couple of years ago and they were bored, so his brother said ‘Let’s go to Amsterdam and see Billy Idol in concert!’. They were there a few hrs later for $45 round trip. Their cab fare from London to the airport and then back to their London hotel was more than the flight to the Netherlands and back.

I spent college doing odd weekends/day trips away on Easyjet and Ryanair. 20 euros all in from London to Prague and then Amsterdam to London. Prague to Amsterdam we did overland, hitchiking, train bus via Berlin. Or the 20GBP all in return to Turin for a skiing trip.

Ryanair make money by taking you to butt fuck middle of nowhere shitty airports with no public transportation. The only option to the target city (often 90 mins away) is a bus run by… Ryanair.

What they have achieved though is some aggressive pricing from BA. Last time I went skiing in France, BA was the cheapest all-in option as their fare included bags, boards, seat assignment etc…

And the really ridiculous? In 2009 my wife was living in Canada, while I was still living in England. We went to Vancouver for a holiday. I flew via Toronto to meet up with the missus and then on together to Vancouver. We booked at the same time and she still paid $20 more than me lol.

Funny business airfares… Toronto-SFO out 19/4 back 22/4 $839, Detroit-SFO same dates, $464 lol.
