^^haha now you can’t edit AND you fucked up your quoted reply. Here’s what you wrote for those who missed it…
Cool, thanks for giving it a try! I’ll see what I can do to make the error messages a bit more detailed.
Here’s what’s on my todo list
- save the charts you had per log (right now it just keeps your chart settings across all logs which can cause errors if a log doesn’t have a particular block measured)
- Some sort of searching method for logs
- Compress the log viewing interface so it’s not so long - its long and ugly and full of text right now. you need to scroll a ton before getting to the charts
- Be able to save multiple “views” - make it so you can create a bunch of charts and save them to reuse quickly
- Compare logs - be able to overlay multiple logs to compare
- Sharing logs - Two methods, you can either make it public, or you can share with specific people or groups
- Support for Porsche logs
fuck the porsche logs
It’s pretty low on the list. I’ll get around to it eventually. It’s just implementing a way of parsing the logs into the same way the vcds ones are stored.
Forgot to add that there’s a “provide feedback” button at the bottom right of the website if you want to submit bugs, feature requests, etc through the site.
nice. abuse coming…
Damn straight, they’re all d-bags anyhow. After all, Joey made the switch from an Audi to a Porsche, that should sum it all up right there!
Curious if you guys ever had issues with vagcom corrupting the logs? I was so happy to find some time to get some logs this morning, and When i open the file all it has are the headers with no data. The file size showed as the full size when you hover over it with the mouse, but when you actually open it the file size drops down to pretty much a blank file.
I did a log the other day also, one was good, the other corrupt. I obviously am saving the file since one is being generated.
I have had issues with files in the past on a few occassions… Files with just headings and no data, files with data that start thousands of rows down, files that didn’t save, etc. I’m sure some of them were my fault though… Sucks when you just made a bunch of passes and don’t have the data to see what was what…
I have yet to run into this issue fortunately.
Be careful not to press space bar when you are in “pause” mode waiting to “resume” logs.
My BMW CAN cable did not work with VCDS = Sad Panda.
I’m out $349 but a good cable is on the way.
Sorry to revive an old thread but i can’t seem to contact Mistro directly.
