Made an impulse buy.. Couldn't pass it up.. BMW ///M content...

Pretty cool, Pete. Congrats!

That’s a cool car and story Pete… Good for you… More pics once you get it detailed and the wheels on please…

Awesome find ! Spread some of that luck my way!

Wow Pete that’s awesome. Funny I just posted an e28 m5 link in another thread here a few days ago…the original car and driver test and a link to an e28 m5 with a e34 motor swap…

Motor Swap is the standard motor on these cars these days. Hard to find one original. Same goes for E30

Wow great find there. Either they look like that one or they are beat to hell. I’m surprised the guy sold it to you

Fucking killer man. I love that Gen 5 series. And it looks incredibly mint. Good for you.

I love how the U.S. bumpers add about 16" to the overall length of the car…Euro bumpers may be a consideration…

Wow that’s a friggin museum piece… great find, congrats!

Thanks man appreciate the kind words… Love old Bimmers and couldn’t pass this one up

Thanks bro!

Thanks Ron, will do. Getting wheels refinished and car will be fully detailed in and out next week… I wanna have my buddy for a professional shoot with my cousins F10 M5… Figured it would be cool to see the two cars together.

Haha will do :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks Jason!

Cool thing with the E28 is that it’s a few hundred pounds lighter than the E34 so even though the E34 has a 3.8liter version of the E28 engine it isn’t as quick I’ve heard

That’s actually what I’ve been seeing, they’re either mint or compete Junkers… I feel like I got real lucky with mine…

lol these stock bumpers are huge!!

Thanks man! I can’t wait to see it done to 100% paint correction… My detailer already saw it and said the paint is a great start to work with…

hey wait are the wheels the metric 415mm size? I think the first proper german sports car i drove was my dentist’s M6…must have been close to 25 years ago, and on a learner’s permit…had those funny michelin metric tires. wow memories.

Congrats, it beautiful.

Wow, what a find.
