Fastestaudiwagon, I think you need a reminder that when you started out on this site you had very a negative karma rating. You earned your way out of that deficit with the encouragement, not belittling of some of the members.

This has been my biggest issue with the sloweraudiwagon (SAW) as he clearly is hung up on the cost of others builds, not very enthusiestesque in my opinion. Shit… wheels, seats and turbos alone put me @ an estimated 13k which is more than the damn purchase price of the car. I don’t get it but he seems to be back on that soap box.
I think there’s some perceived honour in DIYing a build. There’s even more if you feel like you got a deal vs. the big dollar builds.
However when that DIY or low dollar build runs 14s, the owner shouldn’t say anything…or if they do, they should understand that nobody takes them seriously.
If someone buys a $5,000 B5 S4 and puts $25,000 into it, I agree that it’s about as fiscally responsible as a cocaine habit, however it doesn’t make their car any less ‘good’.

Is your car faster than what’s documented on that time slip?
Can you and answer one more question for me please? With my single, my best time was a 14.5…I believe. Do you think my car would run faster than that, or slower if I ran it again?
I do not think the money he spent was for satisfaction over a piece of paper.
Last time I went to the track there was an s5 next to me. My 60’ was 2.5 his 2.1
My 1/8 was 9.672 @70mph, his 9.375 @74mph.
My 1/4 was 14.456 @110mph, s5 was 14.510 @98.74 mph.

- If I run my car again with the same modes, will I run better, the same, or slower?
I would guess that your car has the ability to run a much lower ET, I have no idea about trap, it may go up as well. Practice hard launching will definitely net you some time
