My 2004 RS6

That is fucking awesome!

For sure that’s the first goal. I want to beat the guy over in Europe who went 127 on spray too. Then do a build

Too bad you didn’t come to Milan last Friday. Great conditions.

Were you there? I was out of town

I’ll let you know next time I’m going back and maybe you guys can come back.

yes I was. It was basically 0 da by 9 o’clock. I was there with your tuner doing some 2.0t testing.

He joked that we need to get there early enough before it gets dark… because it’s so slow they use a sun dial to time it.

Update!

It’s been a long 2 months since I went to the track. Here’s what’s been done since that visit :

3" mandrel bent downpipes

Quite an upgrade from stock gutted down pipes. Literally the stock downpipes come out of the turbo and go straight down. I’m surprised they even worked seeing as the flow was so restrictive.

3" turbo back with x-pipe.

No mufflers, no cats, no resonators. Just straight pipe. Sounds amazing. More exotic sounding than grungy v8. All you hear at idle is turbo and then raw v8 when you get on it. My favorite mod to date.

Bosch ev1 injectors for e85

Kurt tuned the car on e85 and it absolutely ripped! Up until 4,000rpms then we ran out of fuel. Never seen a smile so big on Kurt’s face :). Torque steering like a mofo. So injectors and 3bar maf went in.

Fuel pump. WHAT A NIGHTMARE.

The stock rs6 setup has one pump in line and one in tank. My mechanic insisted I do a surge tank…in the trunk…with an aeromotive 11114 fuel pump or something. Finally he gets it done. Fuel pump is loud and obnoxious. Drive car to h20i in Maryland and back. Surge tank begins to swell and leak fuel. Absolutely nightmare. Made it home. Waited another 2 weeks for my mechanic to install the pumps I wanted in the first place. Finally got it all done Saturday. 2 aem e85 pumps in the tank, one wired to in tank wiring, one wired to in line pump wiring.

Car is neutered for now but Kurt’s coming by tonight to tune it. Very excited. Maybe dyno this week and then track Friday. NoWo car show Saturday.

Kwv3 coilovers

Replace stock drc with kw v3 suspension. Love it so far. Still trying to figure out best settings for them for the 1/4 mile. Want car to squat and leave hard. Not wheel hop all over the place like last time at track. Anyone know best settings for 1/4 mile on kws?

Goal is 10.99 in the 1/4 but car is heavy, crossing fingers. Also hoping for a good dyno number but more concerned about having car run right. I’ll keep you guys updated

Next step is all minor stuff. Motor and trans mounts. Rear diff mount, sway bars, bushings etc

Oh, and I am now officially b5 free. Sold all 4 of my b5s, including my 3L motor and cnced heads. Glad I only have one car to focus on now

that’s funny running out of fuel at 4000 rpms

E85 is nuts, but still…the injectors that kit came with would have been HUGE wouldn’t they? Pretty wild that they were maxed out so early.

Good stuff man, I’m excited to see your results!

Take some video for us, I’d love to hear that thing. I always end up looking at RS6s when I do RS4 searches…lol I’m just not sure if I want to deal with a manual swap.

It was on stock injectors, stock fuel pumps! Not sure if mtm changed them when they retuned for 6 speed or what

wow. That means the stockers were retarded big, or MTM was lazy as fuck and held the car back in order to save money on fuelling. Those turbos are big. They left LOADS on the table.

That’s what we are hoping for! Let you know soon! I hope we can max them out.

There’s a swapped one for sale on AZ located in Iowa. It looks pretty damn nice.

Good looking out, but I’ll pass on that one…
