My S6 Full build from start till now

From his original post…

“removed all 4 silencers (resonators) and replaced mufflers”

;D

love the video.

I didnt mention great job posting about the spacer install. It helps show others just how manageable it is.

Great thread, so i have a few questions.

When you took off the intake manifold and took it apart to take out the tumbler flaps, was there any new gaskets needed when putting it back together?

i would like to be able to take my manifold off to inspect for carbon build up as i dont think the borescope will work. But i worried about taking on such a big job myself being new to Audi ownership!! Subaru’s were a lot simpler!!

thanks.

between two parts of intake was some kind of seal, like silicone. in that small gap around - on pics red line.

i put thin layer of new silicone seal and tide up intake

Great post Audis6

There is like a rubber seal or gasket stuff on the S4 intake. The V10 intake looks close to the same thing with the seal. Just clean out all the old stuff and put some RTV in there with a nice bead all the way around. You dont want to have a leak in between the intake sections. That would be a pain. It can have you chaseing fuel codes and missfires if the leak is big enough

new project finished. it was too loud on cold start, special when its in garage, its was wake up little baby from sleep, and during drive when its need to take over and makes shift down to high revs ;D

new rear mufflers

Watch “Audi S6 V10” on AudiRevolution.net

wow it’s really fast

Twin turbo :stuck_out_tongue:

Some error with upload

Haven’t watched the video yet is that fast

The video shows what looks like a nice exhaust system bypass video that should last 34 seconds and it shows it in like 3 seconds. Looks like he just needs to re upload the video

Audis6 looks neat. I Want to her it.

Twin turbo??

Edit, nevermind I’m slow this morning

Nice work Audis6 !
The flapper is the way to go; definitely the best of both worlds. I had a switch like this is a previous favorite car of mine. Can you post up details on what parts you used and the steps? I can’t quite make out the exhaust - looks Italian … ? (+1)

Flapper for the win. I have that oem on the cayenne and it’s perfect! I would def. do something similar if I got one of these cars again!

Btw let me know if yo come across some euro s6 or rs6 seats  love the white car looks so clean and elegant!

Also I don’t think I’ve asked yet, but where are you located?

Noticeable differences with the spacers and the exhaust. Should be less heat soak and better flow and throttle response at a minimum  what size diameter piping did you use?

Any idea where I might be able to. Find seats like yours? love the euro with suede not sure what the us spec cars didn’t get the option…

New details

Nice. Those should look clean after install.
