Lol… 8.x 1/8th times with 88.xx mph then picking up nearly 40 mph by the quarter and running 11.2. I needed a good laugh…

well…this one does. The B8 one on audizine is a little…slack. Arin should turn that over to one of the B8 guys…or just point them over here. It needs to be impartial, rather than run by someone selling stuff.
We saw Arin get scammed by kevkev without much effort. APR blasted that time on their facebook, their webpage, their blog, and the forums. Within hours I had outed kevkev as a scammer. The second I saw the time it was apparent it was a scam.
We also see ARin getting messages like this one from non-APR guys

WhileArin may have had his reasons for not adding that time, or the REVO time that asked this question a few pages earlier or the GIAC time who asked the same question, the fact that people are asking it shows that people are skeptical and pre-disposed to not trusting the database entirely.

And now runs a food truck in RI?That is pretty freaking amazing that someone this talented would waste their time concocting such a story or potentially scamming others for silly parts here and there. How bizarre. Also, I don’t think such a pedigreed chef, a professional that needs his hands to be 100%, would risk their career by working on their own car.
As soon as I saw his times on AZ I figured something was up but didn’t really care to investigate much other than looking at the posted hours for that track on the claimed date. Considering the 1/4 mile track didn’t open until 6 pm, the whole thing was veyr fishy IMO. But, at the end of the day I have nothing invested in any of this…just more internet drama that is somewhat amusing to watch from a far.

I used to frequent the meets back in the day but they seemed to have disappeared from the area…the ones in Boca used to have some ridiculous exotic cars show up (gtr, 458 italia, z06s making some serious power, murcielagos, gt3s, etc damn those were the days) and they were the typical late night high school ricer meets lol go figure!
I remember this cobalt ss with just a tune took my buddy’s rs4 by 2 car lengths on a roll…local guys still talk about that to this day

It is not always the popular role to be the one to question something that doesn’t look right, when so many others are cheering it. Most guys will scowl at you for it…or call you a hater or say you are just looking for drama (i.e. Like you said to me two weeks ago)

I dunno…seems kinds weird. IIRC, the google results of his name showed him as exec. chef at a restaurant in FL, CT, and now running a food truck in RI. All seems to be tied together. Okay, I’ve officially spent too much time on this. ???
Don’t recall saying that to you (and too lazy to search now) but can confirm my opinion is that sometimes that sure seems like that case. Guess that is where my karma pont went!

I wasted time reading several of the vortex links tied to this clown and one link did show he was affiliated with a restaurant in Lantana. I actually think I recall seeing his car parked on the street. Oddly enough I considered driving by in hopes of having a chat with this bobo. It would be pretty classic if I could and pick his brain like I know nothing about his photoshop skills. If I’m in the vicinity I think I might!

this guy is killing me…you know i talked to the president of PES on the phone and then he forwarded me some email contacts one of which is this guy.
i just dont get it…if my car was laying down numbers like this…if i did not own a go-pro i would be going to the store and buying it bc i would be excited to share the car with others.
i would make the time to meet up with other that were interested.
i think that is part of what makes having a car like this fun.
the worst part is there are ppl all over the US and we know what his car looks like…not lots of RS4 around. i would not be surprised if someone ran into the guy.
