Welcome! I’m a newb myself, although I’ve had my RS4 for a few years.
My first car was a '88 5.0 with more rust than I care to admit. Drove the thing from NY to Boston stopping every 15 minutes to let the car cool down and replace the coolant. Had fiberglass, duct tape, and hose clamps holding the exhaust together. Got into twEECer, MAF, rebuilt the engine, edelbrock, AFR, MSD, Crane, 30lb injectors, and learned a great deal along the way. Fun car to work on, nothing near the kind of performance you guys are talking about though.
The Audi is like black magic in a box to me. I’m afraid to open it in case I let the smoke out and the motor stops transducing the flux capacitor.
