Right, as much as I’d for it to work on the v10 not sure how it actually will.
I’d prefer to think about an innovative way to improve the intake or a bigger project, but how to setup a supercharger system for the car. That’s just me though
Ya, I still can’t believe that not a single person has found a way to improve the stock intake even a little bit, aside from insulating wraps. There’s gotta be something. I might seriously start considering the possibility of a hood scoop ram-air type setup.
Well for one thing it is a decent system and it is pressurized, and works fairly well. I do think their are gains but to really think through and design, engineer, and test is a project in itself. Hopefully it happens over the course of a year or two with all that jhm looks to be doing.
I’d personally like to see the IM and the flappers redesigned so they last more than 50k miles. Problem is the design is good, it’s really just some weak parts and materials that can break rather easily, and the v10 does flow a good amount of air…we shall see, keep your fingers crossed
No but the vac pull after you spray and the delay with that will be picked up by the 02s. The car is a wideban ban system so as long as you dont spray too much the 02s will pick up the fuel correction.
The Audi system is one of the most advanced systems out there. Your 06 ECU system from the audi is so advanced that the domestic companies like FORD GM are just now getting advanced enough to use them. No there is no tuning softare. Even the audi tuners out there that have been doing this for 20 years struggle with the NA Audi stuff. Like I said JHMs tuner is leaps and bounds ahead of the other tuners when it comes to these cars.
Im sure you had some guys do standard hot air intakes that might have lost power. But when you look at it right now is the real begining of the V10 performance movement. Looks like we are all in the beggining stages of it.
Like it was mentioned. The air boxes are pressurized with the front end ram air intake. I think we will see more and more information on all this in the next few months
