I’ve done 2250 miles after the trackday and the car has performed very well when asked (and if it was nice and cool outside) I’ve added about a quart and a half of oil since then. But strangely it hasn’t required any oil since I last topped it up 800 miles ago and I didn’t add much that time when the low oil level warning came on. No idea of the condition of the PCV either.
The brakes were very consistent just consistently sloppy feeling. I still had no problem braking in the same spot as GT3s and my passenger said the deceleration was savage, it just didn’t feel that way to me as I had to stand so hard on the pedal.
[quote]For those comparing, the 8:06 is a bridge to gantry time (all us common-folk can’t run continuous laps), so you’ve gotta add 25-30 seconds if you’re comparing to the 7:58 record…I’m just being a stickler. Regardless, great times, seriously!

Correct. If you check the bit between the first and second lap I spent around 26.8s beteen the gantry and bridge - although I did have to slow down for safety’s sake when passing that E46 so maybe 25-26 seconds no lift (which would make the run under the bridge proper scary, I already scared a bit myself how quick I went there with the compromised entry and even the crazy Golf backed off while I stayed flat)
For a standard car with a passenger I found a very old vid of an Audi event with an Audi works driver on the NS. Footage sucks and you can tell he’s on road tires with all the squeeling (you can also tell he’s a racing driver by the way he downshifts lol) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QEPpp8qr9GU The BTG time was 8:15. My tires are probably worth 15 seconds. The track evolves and is a few seconds faster now than it was back then, too.
Either way a pro driver who does hundreds of laps a year and is less risk averse could easily take off 20 seconds from what I did, no question.
