Look at these pics. Look how straight the pipes are straight to the muffler. The entrance to the mufflers in particular.

something is diff about that…i will post up mine maybe tomorrow but the tubing to the mufflers is not bent too much. today was a crazy day at work…but will get them by tomorrow.

not with RS4 exhausts. Being exclusive and elite seems to be far more important.

Yes, the less bends the better. What I was pointing out was that we have seen pics of the carpisto that look much different than the set up I linked to. In particular i’m focusing on the path directly before the mufflers. The rest of the system also looks a little different than what I’ve seen previously.

(I know you and others know there is more to the set up of an exhaust system than just the bends.)

Excuse my ignorance, is this an RS4 avant we’re looking at the underside of??

It may be an RS4 avant but:

  1. that doesn’t matter. Avant vs. Sedan = same underneath.
  2. I don’t think that’s a Capristo. Might be Capristo mufflers and tips, but the piping is all different. For one it looks like a totally different design/shape. For two it’s looking a lot beefier than 2.25"

It’s so intersting for me to see my RS4 being discussed in this famous RS4 forum. :wink:

You could refer to the pictures in Capristo official website.
Capristo is more straight than the other brands MTM/Milltek.
( There are only 20~25 B7 RS4 in Taiwan, most owners chooose MTM or Milltek. My Capristo for B7 RS4 is the one and only set in my country. )
I compared my system with MTM/Milltek. It’s indeed more straight than the other two.

However, it’s not a real straight pipe. I think some questions about my Capristo are caused by the view angle of my camera.

I ordered the system from Capristo in 2008. I’m pretty sure that it’s not a copy one.

Some asked the RS4 Avant.

Yes, there are a lot of RS4 Avant pics in my flickr. That’s my buddy’s RS4 Avant. We choose the same color and the same car plate number.
