nope. It’s a hardware store thing. People use it on their audis a lot
It’s a spray paint with a rubbery texture so it’s good for parts on the front of the car as it resists chipping on the highway stone attack.
It can also be peeled off in most situations so people like that as well.

It is really good stuff, I buy it at home depot for a few bucks a can. You can use it on just about anything.
I have seen it a lot on AZ. I’ve been on rennlist for years and never seen it and years on a Toyota forum. I was curious.
After trying to read the post about the JHM tune that’s 4 pages of information and 20 pages of dick measuring rarely go there. Sad, after a week of owning an Audi I’m already burned out. Actually when I was thinking about building a 4.2 A6 Avant with a manual, those guys were really helpful.
