It saddens me a little to think I could be buying this and basically pay it off instead of doing my S4 engine build and stage 2 supercharger set up, but I’m still pretty damn excited. The wheels do look a little odd but that’s a quick few hundred dollar fix. I’d get 'em powder coated and call it a day. Somebody does need to buy this car though.
The black one was in an accident iirc. The silver one they have has no record of service for the past 25k miles. That 100k miles avus in Arizona looks fucking clean though. Seat doesn’t even look like someone has sat in it.
Thanks for this. That low mileage '08 on ebay is tempting. I really don’t want a black car but I might shoot them an email if it doesn’t sell during the auction. The wheels look like normal Ti wheels to me. Not sure what you guys are seeing there… 65vette - this car was in an accident?
Mdubz - how are you finding all these craigslist ads? You spend a ton of time searching various cities or what?
I wasn’t actually aware of that site that searches all of the craigslist ads but that’s pretty cool. For me I just pick a city that is first and foremost not a city that uses salt during the winter like LA, Dallas, Miami, etc. and search audi rs4. To make things a little quicker I’ll hit CTRL+F and search the results for Rs4 to hopefully filter through the results for an actual rs4 ad. Doesn’t work all the time but it does in certain cities.

Every time I post a link from autotrader, I double check it to make sure it works and it always tells me the listing is gone. Glad the others could see it but I wonder why this happens?
I haven’t priced RS’s but I’m curious in today’s market what a fair price is for this puppy?
Surprised to hear you guys saying a 30k mile car is worth about 40k. The dealers are the ones keeping these prices high and unrealistic. I’ve been watching them just sit on the car and then when they send it to auction another dumbass dealer purchases it for more then the dealer was trying to sell for.
Example, 07 Avus silver with 45k miles on it, one owner. Dealer was asking 35k for it, when I saw I called and they had sent it to auction already, got 38k at auction ::). One of the blue ones I was looking at in may I almost bought for 37k with a courtesy trade, they damaged the quarter before I signed the papers though, car disappeared for the last 3 months and just popped up at a dealer in NY with an extra 3k miles and asking 40k lol.
