Yeah, I’m not sure I count a car with another car’s engine an ‘Audi’. Let alone another brand’s engine lol (VR6t)
im sure some twin turbo r8 v10 would dust the apr car but until one gets to the track…apr is #1
Wow, I just looked. I can’t believe there isn’t a TT R8 time posted. A lot of the underground cars have posted 1/4 times. Weird they don’t have one for the R8.
one of those was just for sale here in Vancouver. If I had 300k kicking around I would have gladly bought it and provided data. ;D
I am not so sure. Most of the underground racing cars (gallardos etc) on stock internals end up running 10.8-11.2 @ 130. Or worse. I have seen a few go high 11s @ 125ish. It’s typical with this stuff. Who has the money to take a $200,000 car…and add $60,000 in mods to it? Old nerdy guys who can’t drive lol.
MRC ran a turbo R8 in the UK a month ago. I think it was mid 11s @ 130+. Early days of development, so I’m sure we’ll see more from them. Love their vimeo videos. Damn.

I think we’d end up with a mess if I merged the two topics. The software will sort posts by the time entered, so the merged thread would be really out of whack. Alternatively, I can move this thread to the B7 board and lock it. That way we’d just have the one going. Let me know what you think.
