…and didn’t get massacred!

Was surprised. Both of us were waiting for a slower driver, and when they moved over, the c63 who was in front of me, behind the other driver, downshifted…and then hammered the gas (they are frigging loud even bone stock).

I did the same and was in third already waiting for this moment at about 60.

From there to the top of forth for me, he pulled ahead maybe 1/2 of a car. He then let off and I did a krauter flyby at a million lol.

After my experience at the dragstrip against these multiple times (crushing poorly driven ones and being within a tenth of well driven ones) I shouldn’t be too surprised but still at these speeds I thought he would run away.

If you listen to too many morons you will start to believe that the RS4 doesn’t do well against these cars. Fact is it does.

This is encouraging. A buddy of mine just got an '11 IS-F and we’ve not been to Mexico but I’ve been in it and can say it did feel pretty quick. I don’t have an rs4 mind, but I’m not bone stock. I still suspect he’d put a beat down on me but maybe it won’t be too gross.

On a side note the IS-F does sound pretty good, lots of meaty induction noise. It’s kind of funny looking and the interior is not Audi par. But like I said it felt fast.

The IS- was actually 12.90 on his best pass, and he said anther time he was there, he went 12.76. Last week he was 13.0 -13.1 mostly though you are right.

His mph was around 110 I believe.

Thanks - another great dragstrip comparo, this time RS4 vs ISF. Essentially neck and neck. Now if we could only find someone who could actually drive the C63 at the strip.

I did two trips ago. Guy in the c63 ran 12.69 as his best and was high twelves all night. I ran 12.89 to 13.0.

There was a tune intake exhaust 135I who I raced. My 13.0 to his 13.3.

Here’s a (terrible) video of the IS-f two weeks ago…can anyone decipher what I say he ran? He had a catback and drag ties on the rears. That’s it. My best was 12.97 and mistro ran 12.78.

There are 2 c63’s running around my area . 1 sedan and 1 coupe and I have tried to race both and they wont. But i did get my ass handed to me this morning by a turbo charged c6 vette but im not surprised.

It is impressive that the rs even hangs with a c63! it a power house, good job!

They are torque houses anyway that’s for sure.

The new ones with the performance packages…they should be able to rape a stock RS4 if the C driver isn’t incompetent.
