Haha, nice! No one ever knows what my car is at all. Even the people who might mention it being a nice car… still don’t know what it is. They may know its an Audi… but thats about it.
It has two mounts…a suction mount that is big and hangs down (it’s just temp, and that’s what I’m using right now) and a 3m sticky tape semi-permanet mount that is much smaller and should hide behind the rear view mirror better.
The camera is a bit bigger than the other ones. That’s what allows them to use quality glass and get a great image.
Here’s a day time video I made today just to show day picture quality. Don’t mind my comments about the blue M3 as I enter the busy part of town. I was surprised how not special it looks. Just looks like a 335i with some tart. I loved the E92-E90.
i had a buddy have a zip disk go right through a full face shield and hit him right in the bridge of his nose about 2 weeks after having surgery to fix a deviated septum. zip discs still scare me today and I use them daily.
wow that’s a nasty one. hes lucky the piece that hit his eyebrow wasn’t an inch to the right.
Some people buy cheap discs too, which can lead to bad situations like this.
Incidents like this also happen when you force a disc too much and heat it up or use a disc that is worn and should have been tossed.
I used to work at a place that had 3 70’s vintage Mid-West 250hp Billet Grinders, basically an older version of the one below. Had a couple of grinding wheels let go on those, fun stuff being in range of the shrapnel from that (they explode into chunks)
we used to grind Ti with them, which was badass to watch since the Ti burns
