did I already post about the guy I know who is on the team to replace the hubble? it’s a 25 year business plan. They’re on track about 10 years into it.

Every year they need to get government approval for their massive funding needed. Pretty crazy.

I don’t think you did - would be interested to hear about it. Is Hubble really being phased out?

NASA is one of the few govt agencies where I’d support a budget increase. I think it is a legitimate public good - like infrastructure.

I work with a guy who was on the optics team that fixed Hubble. It’s a small field - I bet my coworker knows Saki’s acquaintance.
