That Russian video was on live leak… And that led me to watching what I always watch in live leak.
The go pro camera for sports is a great invention. However it has also been adopted by many us military guys in Afghanistan who have it on their helmet and post videos of their engagements on live leak. It’s really incredible to watch. Terrifying mostly when the reality of what you’re watching sets in.

REAL firefights are nothing like what you see in movies… no rambos walking into bullets… no commandos standing up and laying down a sparay of bullets…
You keep your head down lay covering fire and either flank and kill or retreat…
If they used real life tactics in movies… they would be boring as hell… unless they could recreate bullits whistling overhead and splash gravel / concrete debis in your face from ricochets…
Yeah, I can imagine. The videos always seem like the guy is totally hiding and firing by raising the gun above what he’s using for cover and just blasting a bunch then pulling the gun back. No bullshit. Makes total sense though.
