probably one of those ‘this is a low margin product…if they want it, we can’t do it full rocket. If they want widebody, how about we just don’t make it at all?’
Installed a COBB tune in the Boxster myself. The gains aren’t very big on an NA 2.7L. Still, a better value than the Sports Chrono package which does nothing.

Are you going to get it?
I paid for the PDK tune and they sent me an upgrade file. Will install tomorrow and take it for a drive. I usually drive in Sport mode, so it will be nice to have something like sport plus. They said I can easily switch to the “Aggressive” TCU tune for a track day, without the car needing to relearn anything.
Pretty cool that I’ll have launch control without paying the ridiculous $2300 with tax for sports chrono. The ECU and TCU tune is only $1800 all in, and no labor to install like on Audi.
