Two things happened

I was getting into the car a few months ago, and when I was bringing my arm down holding the key to start the car all in one motion while getting in the car, I lost the handle on the key and it flew into the console. I was worried i had cracked the carbon fibre trim or something, but it was fine. Later that night I noticed that I had in fact broken the frigging screen. It’s not the cover of the LCD, but the liquid crystal in behind that is cracked. So if you touch it, you don’t feel a crack. Everyone touches it for some fucking reason. “OH WHAT HAPPENED (poke)”. It spread the last time someone did that. New screen = 500 dollars.

I’m back now. Full up on old vine Zinfandel and fresh oranges that I pulled off trees myself.
“Lopez said a handgun was found in the car and that Huerta was still handcuffed from behind. He said the wound was self-inflicted.”
Let’s think about it. He was patted down, cuffed behind his back, and placed in a cruiser. He then somehow found a gun, got his hands (which are cuffed behind his back) on it, and managed to release any safety that may have been on, and fire it…hitting himself perfectly in the head, and killing himself.
Imagine the discussion at police headquarters.
“Hmm. OK let’s go with that.”
Not to mention that;
a) a self inflicted head shot is not usually from an arms length away. 99% of the time the muzzle is touching the person’s head at the time of firing. Someone with any type of smart left in them will realize that when going over the ME’s report.
b.) to pull off a head shot while handcuffed from behind…and hitting yourself in the head…well, that would be tricky. Even with a thumb pull it would be hard to do.
The victim’s family must be going crazy with that type of BS response to their inquiry.
