Try 87.7. I think they’re basically the new Q101. Mostly alternative and not too many commercial breaks. I really don’t even listen to the radio that much, though. Only when I’m in my car. And in the past 3 1/2 years, I’ve only put on 15,000 miles.
Yeah I kinda forgot about that station last time. They started it right before I moved so I only knew about it for a little bit. Good station though definitely.
I actually tweeted that pic as well and immediately started taking flack from some of the guys at work. Never even crossed my mind that 96.3 would draw that kind of reaction. It’s been on my rotation of channels for years now.
When I lived there and now when I’m back in Chicago I throw it in the rotation because there is so much garbage on, or I can’t seem to find a station without a commercial, I usually need to constantly change. When I was there a couple weeks ago I swear I couldn’t find anything to listen to the entire time.

Hey quick question to anyone across the pond regarding radio stations. What numerical endings can they have? In America, everything ends in a odd number. 102.5, 105.9, 107.5 etc. On one of the top gear reviews Jeremy was in the new Shelby Mustang and was bitching about it only ending in odd numbers. I hadn’t given it much thought before, but it’s obviously not an issue here.

Yep there are stations ending in even numbers in Europe. Off the top of my head for SE England 98.8 for BBC Radio 1, 102.8 for Invicta/Heart, 107.2 for kmfm, 104.2 for bbc radio Kent. … In fact it seems I only listened to even numbrrs
Thanks. I was 95% sure that was the case, but still wanted to ask. Yea it was funny, Jeremy bashed em pretty good for that, but in America it doesn’t matter. I wondered if the radios were coded differently for other parts of the world and he was just driving a demo car, or if it was just a bit of a fuckup.
