jump or no jump he wasn’t gaining any ground that’s impressive. I know a few turbo Ls1 cars and there no joke. was that your exhaust sand blasting or was that his turbo?
Nice! Yeah I have a feeling I’ll get you from a dig and it will be close by the 1/4 mile with you pulling strong up top… from a roll you would probably kill me and definetly beat me… At least until the new blower goes on Still hoping you are planning that track day? later Ron
On his K04 setup on race, I reckon he would be 11.50 @ 120 vs. your 11.7@115
I’m not entirely sure what he has done this past month but I noticed his brother posting on Audizoo that the K04s were for sale. i.e. that gap should be getting wider
Sounds about right… I’ll give it a go either way… All the drama on here lately with keyboard racing is funny I just want to make some passes against other fast Audi’s as I think that is what it is supposed to be about and Hunter seems like a good candidate since he is relatively close and has a strong car… I think folks would rather see that over all the shit talking, key words being “I think”… lol
I just like a good ole fashion race, bench racing when I was racing motocross a lot was for all the slow riders…people saying how fast they were then you would go out on the track and just whip them…BAD and then they would say something bad happened…It is always funny!
looking like from my research for breaking the clutch in it is not a matter of miles really as much as it is gear changes, BMW suggests 800-1000 gear changed and the clutch is broken in…i also ran across a centerforce clutch break in on youtube and they said about 500 miles as well…both said keep it under 2500 during take offs for proper seeting of the clutch faces to flywheel.
When you don’t follow JHM break in instructions, you are pulling a gibsonl/daytonaRS4
When you pull a gibsonl/daytonaRS4, you rush your break in and listen to everyone but JHM
When you rush your break in and listen to everyone but JHM, you get clutch problems
When you get clutch problems, you start ignorant angry anti-JHM threads
When you start ignorant angry anti-JHM threads, you get flamed and people use your website portrait as their avatar
Don’t get flamed and have people use your website portrait as their avatar. Break the clutch in per JHM’s instructions.
Amazing…that is what JHM said as well 300-500 miles of daily driving and I am turning my boost down to like 14 psi so no matter what even if a angry canadian takes it out for a spin cant hurt the clutch.
I have the engine back in the car and just cleaning up a few items and making sure everything is like factory or better than factory. Going to put the front end back on the car today and tomorrow and following day, I have the ER intercooler shrouds and I may need to trim them. Anyway looking to get the car back on the road shortly. Then get it back to CVula for a base tune then break in the clutch or a while, or at least until i get back from my honeymoon, which is June 30th. Then we start tuning the car and we will make sure that when i tune it I cannot blow up the engine! That would be really really bad for the wife…she is very understanding, but that would be the rods that broke the camels back!
Anyway looking to have a bunch of fun with the car!
I think I can find him a crank for stupid cheap so it’s pointless not to go 3.0L. I haven’t seen any drop on my oil stick in the more than 4000miles of my driving. First time it’s ever happend to me! Plus I get better mileage, around town out of boost peppiness is better all around better idea.
