SINGLE turbo build

Piping completed, I removed the ABS and front fenders, getting ready to smooth and paint the engine bay, yes the ABS will be going back in.

I also test fit the rear wheels, looks like I have some creative thinking do to in order to get things under the fenders

I hope to have the engine bay competed in the next 2-3 days, then I can move on to wiring, and possible first start within the next couple of weeks

Removed the HP2’s from the front, installed 365mm RS kit, test fit wheel, finally good caliper clearance

I honestly think that this build might be what’s boring you. It’s been over two years and we both know damn well that you won’t be making over 1200hp. So many shiny parts and no flex pipes, or rubber couplings. Dude certain parts of the car needs to flex, but I guess you are to bored with me to realize it. I also wanted to ask you some questions,“what made you think that you of all people would make over 1000whp and do I see a factory intake manifold?” Dude focus on yourself and leave me alone.

I tore my working stage 3 car down in Feb-March 2011, your math sucks

Flex joints/points- open your fucking eyes and do some research, VANJEN clamps provide more than enough movement. They provide 12degrees movement per clamp, I have 4. The main exhaust has a single 4" flex to be added yet, add to that it weighs only 9lbs including resonator and is made from high temp aluminum

IM-I have addressed the IM on other sites, it is a well ported stock IM, it will most definitely be a limiting factor. There are a couple of different options for IM’s that should be available shortly, if not a custom sheet metal IM is in order.

Time wise, I own a small HVAC company, so June-July tend to be quite busy for us, I also own and daily drive 2 other stage 3 cars, which require attention to keep performing at a level acceptable to myself.

That wasn’t his 1st attempt to get my undivided attention on this forum. He has done it before, but I believe I took it in stride. I apologize if it seems like I am trying to ruin his thread, but I am not. I am 100% for anyone trying to improve on a single turbo setup. EYEspI…any thoughts on a timeline for when it will be ready? i.e. do you have a decade in mind? Just kidding. Just wondering if you’re weeks, months or more away. These builds always take tons of time and effort…far more than those of watching from the peanut gallery realise.

I really should have it started in the month of August. These do require time and capital commitment, more so than I originally anticipated, thus the long build time
