True there are loads in calgary . When oil was pushing through to. $150 the rs4 was the ‘it girl’ of cars. No surprise then how many were bought in Alberta. I bet it rivals ontario
Personally I see one rs4 every 2 months or so. I don’t spend much time in downtown Toronto though and there are a bunch there.

I’ve seen 2 RS4s in real life and never in Chicago. The first was a cabriolet oddly enough considering it’s so rare, and the second is still in a dealership lot a few miles from my house. I kind of want to go get a test drive and see what you RS4 guys get to experience every day.

I know of 3 in PDX…2 Daytona and 1 Suzuka. I don’t know that car though. Another 4 up in Seattle. Now Teslas, those aren’t too rare up here. Actually saw a truck of 8 of them headed North on I5 last Friday…I was surprised to see them with only white wrapping on the back of the car and to see them not in an enclosed carrier.

Tech at cayuga…? We’re lucky to have one marshal there. Uli the owner is one cheap bastard. FWIW its a very very safe track, one wall at the very slow final corner, and lots of grass runoff everywhere else. It’s where I take a lot of people the first time in their own cars, it’s low risk. You should have seen this guy in a creamsicle-wrapped McLaren - total douche and wouldn’t give me a point-by, so for a couple laps I just stuck to his bumper and watched him look in his mirror and make pressure-mistakes lol. I figured it was fair. Makes a nice trophy video except I think I ruined it making pretty douchy comments while waiting for the point-by lol.
Actually even at mosport, most clubs don’t tech the cars - bike events there’s always tech and they are strict!
My buddy went for some laps with Mr RS4, he said he was a Nismo guy I’m pretty sure - and I didn’t drive with him so I’m not sure if he was new to the road course or not. He was running at least 10mm spacers though, and adjustable uppers which he was adjusting at the track (!). Yeah I didn’t notice the angled tips in person - weird - I don’t have any more pictures. Maybe he’ll join here, I hope, I pointed him to here. He could get a lot of good information on his car…

aside from mistro and sakis car ive only ever seen one other rs4 in the wild. in kitchener entering the expressway i got up behind a mugello one with an older lady driving it. they are very rare in my neck of the woods. the dealship tells me the only other one theyve seen in years is a guy from guelph thats also black but painted his rims a purple colour??? ive never seen it.

I mentioned this in another thread, but it’s comical how everyone fawns over an otherwise ugly or over the top or just plain ordinary looking colour, just because it was special order/is rare. i.e. Suzuka or Ibis white. They’re nothing special (I have an Ibis A4 Avant) but because they’re rare, RS4 guys freak out and talk about $10,000 premiums for them. The Papaya car that is for sale is nice to look at in a photo, but offering $50,000 because it’s rare? You’re nuts. There’s a reason there were only 2 out of 2000 in North America. Because it’s a slightly garish colour that nobody wanted to pay a $4,000 premium for when it was brand new. Now guys are suggesting it’s worth a $15,000 premium? Why because Swesna is the arbiter of RS4 value? Swesna is a cheapskate. He pays fuck all for anything. He acts a big shot, but reality shows he basically STOLE his 2 RS4s for bargain basement prices. All these cars he talks about ‘almost’ buying is just him pretending he’s not a guy who lives in a $200,000 house in buttfuck nowhere. He buys 10+ year old cars and watches them depreciate and acts like he’s a car collector lol.
The RS4 in black is rare as all fuck in the real world. You will see 5 black RS4s in your life. Same goes for Silver. Same goes for grey. So paying a premium for a ‘rare’ one doesn’t make any sense…the only place a black RS4 is NOT rare is on car forums. So if you’re paying a $10,000 premium for a white RS4 because car forums, you’re a fucking retard.

People make it seem like these “Rare” colors are the end-all-be-all and yet they are the same to nit-pick over the stupidest small shit. The example I have is a Suzuka Grey car that I think it started around Philly or Jersey and made its way down to south Alabama and was been sold a couple times since.
I LOVE Suzuka grey and many on the forums make it seem like one of the greatest things since sliced-bread and they say that it should demand a premium. You know what was one of the biggest complaints of that car??? Several people complained that it came with Wood Trim and had a Symphony II instead of an RNS-E. They said this showed that it wasn’t an “enthusiast car” which then means it wasn’t treated properly. ???
People are stupid…spend $4k+ on wheels but wont spend $500 on new trim or a new radio?
These are the same people who think it makes sense to spend $20k extra on a premium color but would never consider to just paint their car instead.

My car came with carbon fibre trim, but no premium package so I didn’t have memory seats, RNSe or the window sunshades.
I bought the 2010+ RNSe (the rS4 rnse was rubbish anyway…had it in my B7 S4) and I’m plenty happy.
