I had the center resonator cut out of my exhaust as the hangers had rusted through on it. Since then, I get a rattle when accelerating, but only when the car is cold. I figure that something is not held as tightly as it was before, and that some day, when I can get a full exhaust, I can have it fixed.
Even tho i have the stock mufflers on it shouldn’t be rattling? the guys at the shop said it was because i was running with stock mufflers? and the noise is coming from the back end of my car…i ordered a pair of magnaflow 14829 street series mufflers so i guess sometime next week we will see what happens. pray for me! lol
Taylor - do you know what check engine code came up for the bat cat?
i dont know the actual code off the top of my head. i just remember my bank 1 cat was throwing the code. then when we took them out the inside was completely melted and the bank 2 cat was starting to clog up too. if your planning on gutting yours i would hollow out the inside of your cats and leave them on your car. i heard it sounds better and you still get a pretty nice flow. also leave the resonators on unless you want it to be really loud. dont get me wrong its still going to be louder but the resonators do help out.
