Rossignol Experience 88s @ 164cm. Also got Tecnica boots. Happy with the setup so far. Feels totally different from the usual rentals… Going to really break them in at Winter Park in a week.
I’m so jealous of yall getting some snow days in. Our schedule and other projects made it where we weren’t able to get a ski trip in this year. Really bummed, but definitely going to make it out next year at least once.

Was at Winter Park this past weekend. No fresh snow but still had a great time. Very happy with the new skis. Tackled some more challenging terrain and felt confident on them. Plus was with some more advanced skiers who pushed me beyond my usual comfort level and I definitely improved from it. Parsenn Bowl was great, particularly the run “Larkspur.” Unlike my last trip, there were some lift lines, but that’s to be expected on a nice weekend near Denver.
One of the guys on my trip recommended I download “SkiTracks” app. Definitely worth the $1. It can track the entire day of skiing. You can actually watch an overhead of all the runs it recorded. Very cool stuff and didn’t drain much battery despite running the entire day.
If you saw a black RS4 parked near base of Super Gauge lift at Mary Jane last Sat, that was me. High thin clouds on Sat never let hard snow soften up enough, at least for me. Heard Sun was sunnier and bit warmer so snow was likely better. Had 6 new yesterday morning, with a series of storms hopefully lined up.
Mornings were definitely icy but I felt like everything was in good shape by 11 or so. Take into account that I’m from the midwest so I’m used to some pretty hard and icy stuff.
