It would be interesting if we could find out what mufflers they used on those cars. Any any information about the cat backs. Document wise that would be helpful.

There is lots more info on Jalopnik and in this thread…

I’m not a fan of the catback design they used, as noted in that thread.

This is the name of the shop that did that car…

Technical Garage Sasaki

Yucky I remember that. On the mufflers did we ever see what that was.

Yeah, not pretty but at least they tried

i suppose we do need to give them attempt credit

Any updates to this?

I think right now a few guys are getting there exhausts built. So there is some advancement going on but its not being put on the front stage.

That is right Justin…the main project has been delayed so that the shop can build two or three additional sets of headers for other v10 S6 owners, while the drivetrain is out. Hopefully Ill have the next update for my car in the Fall.

Fall is over. lol
Now its winter.
Any updates?

Also have you attacked the subject of intake manifold improvements? Have you taken the stock IM apart and seen want can be done to improve the current restricted flow?

Technically winder dosent start till december 21st

Haha busted!

LOL From what I know. We should all be seeing something on this by then

anyone know where V8A6 is lately?

hey guys!

Sorry, started a new position about five months ago and working like crazy, up to 100 hours a week. So, not as much time to drop in on the forums.

The S6 is getting everything put back together, and is scheduled to make its way home in late December. So, I should have some updates for you pretty soon.

Nice! Can’t wait to see the final product!

That’s awesome, man. I’ll get the pen and paper ready to take down these notes!!! :stuck_out_tongue:

Just bumping my own post as I had the ducts fitted today and it was really simple.

Apparently the only modification required was to elongate the bottom hole to allow the bolt to line up.

Now let’s see if they will help with disc life as I had new fitted at the same time.

Fixed it for you.

spot on. These things sound amazing at high RPMs
