This doesn't sound good

Check the knocks sensor wires while you have the intake manifold off. All of mine were brittle and cracked. I ended up doing about 15 splices to repair the harnesses.

The JHM spacers are a big must have.

LOL on the intake part lol you would have to believe that they would see it sitting there. I don’t know how much support you can get from the dealer but if you have a chunk of intake manifold in that spot. there is a chance there are other bits of intake that might have made it into the cylinder.

It might not be a bad idea to have a compression check.

Called my service buddy about that intake piece and they saw it there, just hadn’t removed it yet before taking pictures of carbon buildup.
I’ve asked for pictures of the old intake apart to see if anything else is missing. According to the tech, that piece of the intake you noticed is THE part that broke and caused all my issue. Well, I look forward to getting pics of the dismantled intake manifold. Then I’ll know how worried I should be about stuff down the cylinders. If it looks like a bomb went off inside the manifold, I’ll for sure be having that compression check done.

Yep Get those intake spacers if you can, it didnt effect my warranty - they are more than worth it. They are worth double the $$$$ Get the mechs to follow the guides on this forum on installing them other wise you will get flap stuck open codes.

^^ muy importante that you follow the instructions on here (don’t re-install those motor mounts) i have those intermittent stuck flap codes, the JMH affiliate i used wasn’t aware that they needed to leave those off.
