I forgot to mention…Axel is the BEST follow the leader driver ever. He was always RIGHT with me the whole 70 km drive. You other guys kept falling miles back lol
I tend to wander, forget to signal…all kinds of things that tend to lose the guys following me. Not Axel. It was a pleasure because I never really had to worry about him.
We lost you guys when you ran through the yellow lights north of Caledonia. So we took the bypass but got stuck behind a trailer.
I passed the trailer to catch up but George didn’t so I had to pace in between so they didn’t loose sight of me (George mentioned at the lights that he’d follow me since he didn’t know where to go).
Then we lost bora. Thought he’d gotten another ticket for driving a bright yellow car over the age of 30 but it turned out he just had to take a leak urgently.
Then on the way back I got curious if cutting through Caledonia was faster. It wasn’t.
If only my drag strip excuses were as good.

cutting through caledonia sucks. Always take the cutoff (that I missed) and then McClung road. McClung is a fun road…it’s like a rollercoaster.
