dont worry saki, it wouldnt have been mine as mine wasnt a true Ti package, it was a ghetto one haha. i did the black grill and i wrapped the trim myself, car was sold with all of that taken off haha
When did you buy yours? If it only depreciated $3-5,000 I would be very impressed.
An R8 owner on another forum bought his R8 4.2 at the bottom of the market in 2009 during the financial crisis and got a really good price for it…like $95,000. He could sell it for around that today. Pretty crazy.
Haha yeah i’ll be doing the AWE Cold Front since APR doesn’t have a CPS for the 2013 yet. Plus I sold my dad my CPS so cheap that i would rather just spend $1,400 on the AWE on then $1900 on the APR unit. Although the APR unit did work very very well, hope the AWE unit has similar results.
Thanks for the offer Arin. I’m probably going to stick with GIAC as i’m very happy with my current results but love your product as well and i’m excited to see what you guys have coming
they will be similar but the APR will have an advantage, the AWE kit doesn’t come with an uprated pump. but you can always add that on later even with the AWE kit and frankenstien it, i may do that with there reservoir since it is larger than APR’s
Anyway, we punished the hell out of our test cars with the current stock pump kit, and the consistency with our heat exchanger plus our giant reservoir leaves pretty much nothing on the table power-wise.

Nice! At the end of the day they are both larger HE’s with seperate coolant loops so performance will be close… The pump helps no doubt but the larger surface area and seperate loop will do 90% of the work IMO… My IAT’s improved and stayed consistent, more importantly, with the CPS… Oh and for those on Vendorzine that don’t think APR was messing with the duty cycle, flow times, etc of the stock setup like EPL is claiming in their tune information, OK… LOL
Congratulations on your new ride. I traded my 2010 S4 for a 13 S4. I was tempted with the RS5, however, I take clients out and needed that extra space. I was tempted by that RS5 but coulnt pull the trigger. Nice colour choice.
