What is "good" service from JHM?

listen why do you fucking PM me every 2 days on audiworld asking for help if I’m so slow?

You’re the retard who paid the dealer DOUBLE what the other shop quoted you…then when the install was fucked up and I told you DAY 2 that the engagement point indicates a problem, you ignored it, then didn’t break it in properly…then went to a track day…then the clutch was fucked…then blamed JHM even though it was install…then everyone on every forum told you it was an install error…then you still blamed JHM…then you ordered a clutch that’s not even in stock from another company…and blamed JHM again…and lied about JHM costing you rental car money…and got caught.

But yeah, you sound smart and I’m the dumb one.

GTFO with your buddy badbluers4 the 13.6 second quarter mile assassin.

I think you all missed my whole point. I’m not blaming anyone, Audi or JHM, for the failure until I know what happened. The only person who even went down that path was Saki. My whole point was that if everyone just makes excuses and no one ever expects them to provide better service we all lose at the end of the day. Most manufacturers provide warranties on their parts. From what I’ve heard, clutchmasters is pretty quick with sending replacements in the event a failure happens. Once again, the point of forums is just for people to be aware so they can make well informed decisions on their own. Had I been aware I probably would have bought all the other JHM parts I have but passed on the clutch/fw since there are so many hands in that pot and when things go wrong you’re left hanging.

Your car is stock, how can you advise me as to how an RS4 Stage 4 clutch should feel? Once again Saki … If I or anyone else knew that the install was the issue for sure I clearly would not have sent the setup to JHM to be tested. And since ur such a fanboy and act like you know JHM staff so well I told u to holler at your boys and make something happen. Do you even read posts before you reply. You say a lot of irrelevant stuff.

Because I have more experience on these forums than you will likely ever amass in your life.
Because I know 20 people personally who have that clutch.
Because I have driven plenty of miles on 4 different cars that have that clutch, the latest being 2 weeks ago in Bangoman’s car at the strip.

THAT’S HOW I KNOW.

I also know that you posted on audiworld how fast you’d be at the strip because the engagement point is so shallow. That’s a red flag right there…it’s supposed to be just like stock.
This stage 4 clutch has a super shallow engagement so should be quick!

Nowl…after all the shit you and your retarded brother badbluers4 have talked about me, why the FUCK would I ever help you? GTFO…as you can see, this isn’t quattrofail where everyone will rub your back and tell you its ok and blame everyone but yourself. The guys on this forum know what’s what and can immediately see that you and badblue are full of shit.

I guess we’re gonna have another enlightening moment Saki. For starters you never drove my car and I have never driven any RS4 with a clutch other than stock. So I would have no clue as to what depth is normal or not for my car. I took it to the mechanic, they said it was fine so I kept driving it. No oen is goign to tear down a transmission bc I say “saki says it’s wrong even though he never drove it.” Are you kidding me. Secondly, I know ur a “forum god.” I tend to prefer spending my time at the track instead of trolling multiple sites, many of which ur banned from. Maybe if you had never starting mentioning my name or my buddy on this site we never would have come. But since I do google searches and all of a sudden see you foaming at the mouth about us here we decided to join the party.

what the fuck are you talking about?

You drove your car with stock clutch. Then when the JHM clutch was installed you talked about it having a super shallow engagement point. That’s a red flag.

whatever dude, this thread is dead to me. Good luck with your car. You’re going to need it.

So buying JHM parts and needing service=needing luck?! Good to know! … And you never needed to respond to begin with. Not sure you added much value. But thanks to the others who did! That was about a week ago that I was talking to you. Clearly you have no more pull with JHM than me. But thanks for trying?! I guess.lol

Believe me none of us get any special treatment from JHM. Even the guys that ahve been there since the very very beginning when JHM launched the S4 tune, they have hard time getting A1 customer service from them. I have been around for a while too and I have spend a good chunk of change with them and I still get the same treatment. It’s always the same story with everyone. Either it’s perfect and emails are responded to in 10 minutes, or it’s hell and you have to call them 5 times to ask if they got the email. They are growing bigger than they imagined they ever would, and they’re in that tough spot where they are growing and things are looking good, but they have to invest all their earnings back into the company to help it adapt to the increasing demand. I bet things will be settled and they will have shit down by the end of the year.

p.s. I only read page 2 of this thread so if what I just posted doesn’t pertain to the thread, you know why

^^This

Awesome parts. Hit or miss customer service. There’s your answer. Barely any of us know you so go whine about your problems to someone who cares.

Its like some random person walks up to me and says “Hey man Target just gave me horrible service”. Uhh Ok ??? WTF does that have to do with me. Do I know you?

Get it?

Well considering that others who have posted above have stated having the same expereince as myself, I think that’s what I “get.” Why bother posting such useless comments. I guess it gets ur karma and post numbers up?!

You asked what people thought they should expect and they’re answering you. Your original post:
So what should really be expected from JHM in this situation. Am I out of line for thinking that 2 weeks, and counting, to bench test my setup is ridiculous?! I know this is a heavy JHM forum so maybe you all can shed light on the situation. Maybe this is just typical and I should have been aware before buying their products.
I presume the underlined was a question. Maybe your UPENN education forgot.

Your comment is just as useless as his. He essentially said “the service sucks but we don’t know you, so go away.” The second part is what I was referring to. And you don’t need to keep saying I went to UPENN. That’s twice in 2 posts. I already know where I went to school but thanks for the reminder.

My comment is as useless as your thread. Fin.

You said it’s finished so it must be now! Thank goodness

You should expect them to inspect the part and give you an answer in a reasonable amount of time. They did not. That’s on JHM. But, you knew that already so I question the intentions of this thread.

I’ve personally had nothing but good service from JHM. So take that FWIW.

Almost every B6/B7 4.2l owner on the forums has experience with JHM. Because they have proven results and give us the formula to make our cars fast. No other company has been able to do that for us in the states. The results speak for themselves. “JHM fanboy” comments make me laugh. I guess if you buy a certain product that makes you a fanboy. We (b6/b7 S4) owners don’t have the luxury of a bunch of different tunes and products built for our cars. A JHM bolt on B6/b7 s4 is faster than any other. So we buy what works. Getting another tune would just be idiotic. Its that simple.

Not correct, I have spent $10k with JHM so I already know they make good products. This was my first time ever needing service from them due to never having an issue previously. When I say “fanboy” I am referring to an individual who refuses to hear or acknowledge any problems with JHM. This is a person who immediately blames everyone else in the world for any issue “installation, break-in, weather …” instead of even considering that maybe JHM COULD have some culpability. And since the “service” which would entail them actually bench testing the part, still has been dragging out there is no one who can asign any blame. I would not consider you a “fanboy” Apat bc you are actually at this moment using your brain in looking at the situation.

Word.

This site has numerous people who show up and try to antagonize its members. You may not have intended to do that but its just how the forums have become. Like internet gangs. People from one site trying to prove how cool they are by pissing other people off. I don’t condone it in either direction. Some people get jumped all over because of the history involved with that person or the type of question they are asking.

So when someone joins a site and posts a certain type of question. They get pounced on not because the question is so wrong. Its the history everyone has with that “type” of question. That just how it is.

Fact is, this site has some real good technical discussions. More so than an other forum site I’ve seen. The critical nature of its members may seem like a bad thing at first but in fact it only b-e-n-e-f-i-t-s (damn wonky spell check) the discussion. Praise is earned with results on this website. Like a wise man once said “if you cant take the heat, get out of the kitchen”.

lol daytona already admitted they (badbluers4 and him) came here just to stir shit

when he lied on page one of this thread, people should have been tipped off to his intentions.

His claim that he has spent $10,000 is funny. He has spent 3 times what I have spent with JHM. Maybe we should be asking him for information on their service levels? I’d like to see a list of parts that cost him $10,000. I frankly don’t believe it.

Of course what he fails to recognize is that if he has $10,000 in purchasing history he has done TONS of orders with them…and has never had a problem…well their service must have been pretty good. The first sign of a problem has had all forums pointing to an installation issue…yet he instead starts angry ‘JHM is mean’ threads on 3 different forums. Useless.

  1. I thought this thread was dead to you saki?
  2. What part did I lie about
a)JHM saying they would inspect my parts and send it back in 1 day?
b)That I had to call JHM for a full week numerous times bc they would not return my call?
c)That JHM doesn’t inspect their own parts?
d)That I haven’t heard from them all week?

Please enlighten me. And ordering a part and having it sent to you is not the same as having an issue wiht a part and having to get assistance from the shop. Or is that difference too hard for your pewanut brain to comprehend?! Please tell me where on my post here I blame JHM for a faulty part? Please, bc you keep accusing me of doing something here that didn’t happen. I already knew the fanobys were here and since I have no idea whether it’s an install error or a parts failure I can’t specualte. Whereas you in all your mighty wisdom seem to be able to make comments about things u know nothing about. The cause of the failure is irrelevant in the post that I made here. I was only commenting on the service, but of course as fanboys do … DEFLECT DEFLECT DEFLECT!!

you lied saying that you were waiting for JHM to inspect the flywheel, and as a result of their taking so long, you were racking up hundreds of dollars in rental car charges.

I then reminded you that you had posted on another forum that RAI was ordering you an entirely different setup (and you were abandoning the JHM parts).

You then admitted that it was actually the fact RAI had ordered you a clutchmasters setup that was out of stock that was causing the delay, and the piling up rental car charges.

You got straight up caught, and it was easier than catching a 5 year old. Your credibility is ZERO. You thought you could post under a different username (he is gibsonl on every other forum on earth) you could sneak in under the radar?

You have spun this story around so many fucking times, nobody cares, and nobody wants to help you. This has nothing to do with fanboyism or anything. You’re a stone cold LIAR and to that end, nobody really believes anything that you say on this forum.
