Sometimes it seems like the performance part is a little off.
Did You get it before or after JH Motorsports posted it on their site?
After the official release.
Did You get the DP’s and the Tune?
I have to save money up for the DP’s. But I will get the cat-less version.
I had the tune, but have since sold the car.
Definitely got what I paid for, in fact more. Much more performance over stock with the tune alone, and better gas mileage. I got it before official release, but it hasn’t changed since then. Didn’t get the dp’s.
Tune and basic bolt-ons improved their test car’s 1/4 mile by something like 1.5 seconds, which is HUGE. How do you feel the performance is “off”? At the end of the day it’s a tune on a n/a engine, it’s not going to feel as big of a difference as a turbo’ed car, but even at that I found it to be quite a substantial gain.
1.5 seconds is pretty big. That’s generally like adding 40 hp at this level.
The throttle response sometimes feels like its back to stock.
There is a spot in the gas pedal at about 30% in 2nd that the car takes off like I pushed it to the floor.
Sometimes it does it and sometimes it doesn’t.

Gas mileage is the same.
Throttle response is more linear with the tune. The things you are describing sound like they are intermittent, which would indicate something is a bit off with the car itself.
