At Bronte Provincial Park in Burlington Ontario.

This post is for the auto enthusiast.

First let’s get my failures out of the way -

fail on my point n’ shoot being set on “tungsden” for the first few pics

fail on the battery running dry well before I took all the pics I needed to for this post to have the clout that it should

So, the show. It’s ENORMOUS. Well past 1000 cars.

First, a shot of the lineup to get in to see the show.

The show cars have a separate entrance.

Next, the GTA exotic cars tour stand. I asked one of the stand’s attendants about the V8 R8’s exhaust. Sounds like a bloody cigarette boat at idle. My guess is capristo but he said it was stock??? Anyhow he also mentioned that the LP640 has a straight exhaust. Golly.

There was a row of 25-30 Jaguar XKE. Camera battery fail.

Row of pimpin old Rolls. Camera fail.

Row of TVR Griffith / TVR Tuscan.

Row of any and every Lotus you could name. Old angular Esprit. Newish Esprit. Exige, Elise, Evora. Weird Lotuses I’d never seen or heard of.

Row of Astons. Couple of Vanquish. Old DB7. Vantage Zagato. MAJOR camera fail.

Row of Deloreans. Only difference car to car is the lisence plate lol.

Further camera failures include a row of authentic AC Cobras, The billion Triumphs and MGs, rows and rows of Caterhams and Lotus Sevens, and what was perhaps an authentic Porsche 356 Speedster.

Top Gear UK has never been to Canada. They’ve gotta come do a segment on this show. Jesus I was floored.

P.S. You can change white balance to daylight from tungsten, even in jpg. Just need a reasonably good image processor. Also you’re probably carrying a good camera in your phone for p&s battery outages in the future. I know my Samsung Note camera is every bit as good as my four year old point and shoot. Takes HD video too.

AC cobras were an english body/chassis, the shelby part was ditching the I6 and chyrsler v8s for the ford v8s iirc
