16825 evac code. Lets get rid of it.

Got all my codes caught up on and have my car running great other than one code.

Cleared my vacuum leak up and have a 16825 left. I’ve seen threads for the 1.8 guys but can’t find hardly any for the 3.0. Including fixing the problem.

Old Guy or whoever can you at least give me a guideline on where about what would be causing this? I know it is a insuffient flow evac code but don’t know where to start.

Thanks in advance and let me get the CEL cleared damnit!

I cleaned it out and there was a shit load of sand. I’m going to probably order and new one anyway but what would cause the sand to be in there?

Yeah I replaced that valve on my 3.0. Fairly common issue from what I gathered

Hmm didn’t know that, well hopefully that’s the end of that.

*subtle

Lmao damn, I’ve had that up there for months. Dn spell check doesn’t work worth a damn.

Thank you meistah. Haha

Lol haven’t been on the forum in months or I would have caught it sooner :stuck_out_tongue:
