I was wondering if anyone can help me out. I want to get a full front control arm kit from europaparts because there close to me. I was looking at the febi kit and the melye kit but they say in description that it fits my 2000 audi a6 4.2 but alsi that they fit the 2.7tt and others. I thiught that the 4.2 c5 had specific kit. Should I be worried?

Yknow, they used to have a 4.2 specific kit, but now they look like they might fit all the models. This just adds to the confusion. Best idea is to call them up and confirm before ordering that they will work with the 4.2 cars.

started removing the stock interior today to install the rs6 alacantra set i got…
it was really easy to do…but its always harder to put it back together.
will post more pics tomorrow of completed job.

also turned my rotors and installed new pads and ecs spacers on the rear 14mm i have 12mm for the fronts but not putting them on until i do my front control arm kit install.

RS6 Interior pretty much complete…next is rs6 cluster which is on its way and then rs6 steering wheel once i find one.

ahh less than an hour to take out interior but about an hour and a half to install rs6 interior…

The RS6 interior?

its all alcantara. seats arent a hell of a lot different unless you get the european (like DOT RS4 vs DOt B7 S4 vs euro RS4)

headliner, sunroof cover, sun visors, air bag covers, a-pillars, d-pillars, c-pillars, b-pillars and rear deck are all now alacantra. OEM from and rs6

then on top of it i got the rs6 door cards with are black leather with cream insert. Also has black titanium door handle. and bose logo on speaker cover is alttile different

Can anyone one with a a6 c5 4.2l help me out with posting a pic of there front bumper clearance to the ac fan. Hood open birds eye shot. Some kid backed into the front of my car today while sitting at stop sign. Kid tried to pull out in traffic notice he wasnt going to make it. Slap his car into reverse and back right in to me. Luckily there was a cop tight behind me that witnessed it all.

Going to install my JHM intake spacers and lightweight pulleys tomorrow along with fuel pressure gauge. will post pics

My s4 really liked the lightweight pulley. That should help free up some power

yes unfortunately all i have for now is lightweight alternator and power steering pulleys
JHM does not make the crank anymore for my car
