2002 Allroad as a parts car for a 2005 allroad

I have a 2005 Allroad 2.7T. A 2002 Allroad 2.7T for parts just popped up in my area.

Does anyone know a resource to find how compatible the parts will be? I would purchase this mainly because my Allroad is having transmission issues. It could be the solenoids or it could be more serious.

What do you all think? Buy or pass?

I would try and find an 03+ parts car. Transmission itself will work, but tcu will be different if that is your issue. Some engine parts transfer but a lot of the sensors are different. All body panels and interior pieces work, I switched all of my soft touch buttons out since the coating wears off.

I don’t see a C5 section. Not sure what I am missing.

They are only asking 1k. I figure it is probably worth the expense just for the catalytic converters and the transmission.

Why is it a parts car? Not running, or no title/accident? And I guess there isn’t a c5 section on this forum. My mistake.
