As for typing this, 7300 original miles. That is correct, seven thousand three hundred miles.

Never have the chance to drive it since I take public transportation the majority of the time.

1/2 of all mileage came from two long distance trips. NYC->Baltimore, MD and NYC->Rockland,ME round trips.

This is an incredibly difficult to find color and DTM combination. In addition, you WILL NOT find another S4 with this mileage. This vehicle is solid and exactly as described therefore sold AS-IS.

Wait a minute, you put “JHM stage 1 supercharger” in the title because you feel it has the modifications necessary to support the supercharger?

Is that a selling point, a very poor irrelevant one at that; or is it just BS to draw attention to the ad?

Thanks for the clarification should say “ready” not “read.” And not a selling point. Just information that any future owner might find relevant.

Not sure if tiptronic could handle the power. Tip is on the new S8, which is rated at 520hp, and I think APR is working on a tune for it. What kind of power is a JHM stage 1 setup making?

I am pretty sure JHM tested the hell out of a TIP S4 before releasing the SC for the TIP version. Don’t quote me on that. But I have read a few threads here and on AZ about TIPs running JHM S1 SC.

To answer the question:

The Tiptronic or Mechtronic as it’s called, can handle the stage 1 JHM + hp 450whp range. The Auto cars are actually very impressive Vs the manual cars, performance wise.

One of the first batch of test cars, was a 2004 with 135,000 miles on it, and it was a Auto.

For the past two years now on top of making adjustments in the tune that help the Auto cars, JHM has been doing 6speed Transmission tunes and testing getting ready to bring it to market.

Very nice car and I have to wonder if anyone has seen a lower mileage B7 S or RS recently. I’m curious if the auto trans will keep it on the market longer? I’m guessing a manual sells within 24 hours.

I keep joking with my friends, at the rate I drive it, my grandchildren would be driving this. I also too wonder if the TIP Trans will hold up. I’ve been on the edge on whether to take the plunge and just put in the JHM S1 SC.
